For Halloween I get the honor of teaming up with Kristin at Hopelessly Ever After and linking up a spooky and festive Halloween Drink!!
Mine is a slight modification via Martha Stewart called Bloody Scary
ooohhhhHHHHH OOOOOHHHHhhhhhhh (those are scary ghost sounds.....obv)
Ready? Let's get mixing!
1. Gather your ingredients (You can follow the recipe as is, or modify it like I did)
Blavod Black colored vodka
Blood orange soda
Champaggin
shot glass
soup spoon
2. Mix Champaggin and Blood Orange soda, 50/50, and pour 3/4 of the way up your glass.
(You will want a tall, thin glass for this drink, otherwise you won't be able to layer the flavors as well)
3. Get your shot of Blavod vodka and spoon ready
4. Flip your spoon over and hover just above the orange concoction. The closer the better.
SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLLLYYYYYYY pour the vodka over the back of the spoon.
Go as slow as you can.
Start pouring, then realize you are messing it up and go slower.
Trust me.
5. Garnish with a Skeleton Swizzle Stick. I bought mine at World Market
(I would normally say optional, but this is HALLOWEEN people! It's NECESSARY)
6. Throw on your costume and drink that ish!
